Karajan Symphony Vinyl Exhibition

Karajan's symphonic music holds a steadfast place in the hearts of music lovers. As the New Year's Concert approaches, this exhibition centres on Karajan, allowing audiences to rediscover the passion and warmth of symphonic music during the winter season. It features static displays and vinyl appreciation concerts.




 




1)      Extend thematic temporary exhibitions to campuses and commercial districts through multiple collaborations.




2) Enrich exhibition content by fully integrating live performances, online interactions, and other cultural formats to create a "Themed Carnival."




 




(III) Strengthen Social Services and Outreach to Enhance the Museum's Social and Economic Impact




1. Uphold the principle of "Service First, Visitors Foremost" to comprehensively advance public engagement. Plan to welcome 600,000 visitors annually and provide no fewer than 1,000 free guided tours.




2. Align with the 2024 International Museum Day theme "Museums for Education and Research" and the "75th Anniversary of China-Russia Diplomatic Relations" to organise thematic promotional events and temporary exhibitions.




3. Integrate exhibitions and themed activities to successfully execute "Museum Music Public Benefit Performances, Courses, and Lectures," conducting no fewer than 50 public benefit events.




4. Strengthen education for minors by upgrading and developing music-themed cultural research products, while organising at least 30 public welfare activities focused on cultural heritage education.




5. Continuously enhance self-media promotion, collaborate with media on special events to expand the museum's cultural brand influence, and establish cultural itineraries within various tourism products to stimulate consumption.




6. Continue implementing "night economy" initiatives during peak seasons by extending closing hours and adding "night tour" interactive themes alongside diverse evening music performances to support Dalian's night economy.




(IV) Collection Acquisition and Digital Archiving


1)  Continue collecting artefacts for the World Music Culture Museum, targeting over 2,000 sets.




2)  Continue digitising video archives of exhibits and launch "Short Video Cloud Exhibitions" activities.




3)  Refine relevant systems, learn from state-owned museums, and enhance collection restoration and exhibition techniques.




4)  Strengthen scientific conservation of artefacts by utilising restoration and research studios to conduct repairs on various sound artefacts.




(V) Accelerate Academic Research and Talent Development


1. Organise professional development programs integrating museum studies, cultural relics studies, folklore studies, management, and social media to enhance staff expertise.




2. Prioritise talent cultivation through diverse approaches like "going out and inviting in" for field study tours. Select personnel for national, provincial, and municipal professional training programs aligned with operational needs within the year.




(VI) Strengthen International Exchange and Deepen Global Collaboration




1) Deepen collaboration between cultural heritage industries and university student entrepreneurship initiatives.




2) Continue the "Cultural Heritage Classroom" program to bring museum knowledge into schools.




3) Organise Sino-Russian academic exchanges in cultural heritage studies.




4) Facilitate reciprocal musical and cultural exchange visits between China and Russia, to be implemented in spring, summer, and fall 2024.




II. Enhance Safety and Fire Prevention Measures




1.   Uphold the "safety first" principle in museum operations, implementing various measures to enhance safety management.




2.   Strengthen safety awareness education by organising staff fire drills and fire safety lectures to improve safety preparedness and maintain constant vigilance.




3.   Fully implement the safety responsibility system. Sign fire safety responsibility agreements at all levels to enforce safety accountability. Strictly enforce fire safety management regulations and rigorously investigate violations.




4.   Enhance facility safety management to ensure the secure operation of all equipment.




5.   Strengthen safety management during exhibition renovation projects. Implement designated personnel and fixed posts with strict surveillance to reinforce safety management during renovations, ensuring all projects proceed safely.




III. Administrative Management


1. Accelerate cultural system reform in accordance with provincial and municipal requirements, completing all preparatory work for implementation.




2. Refine all rules and regulations, strengthen management, and ensure the smooth progress of all tasks.




3. Strengthen personnel work, personnel management, and archives management. Strive to implement a social dispatch system for contract-based positions to standardise and unify museum operations.




4. Strengthen relevant infrastructure maintenance projects.




5. Strictly enforce financial management systems and work procedures, rigorously manage approvals, strengthen oversight of all fund usage, and promote a spirit of diligence and frugality.




6. Enhance management of water, electricity, and other infrastructure. Conduct timely maintenance to ensure regular operation. Promote energy conservation, raise staff awareness of resource conservation, and implement measures to reduce various forms of energy consumption.




7. Accelerate cultural industry development. Building on this year's record-high visitor numbers, actively explore cultural industry business models and advance cultural industry operations and development.

IV. Party Building Work


Strengthen the conduct of the leadership team, enhance Party branch construction and Party member development, and comprehensively implement the "Mass Line Education Practice Campaign" as directed by the Party Committee.




1. Conduct theoretical study sessions for the leadership team to enhance political theory literacy and conduct among leaders and leading cadres.




2. Fully leverage the leadership role of Party branches at the grassroots level, strengthen management and education of Party members, organise democratic meetings within the Party, and carry out intra-Party heart-to-heart talks and mutual assistance activities to enhance the ideological awareness of Party members.




3. Strengthen political and ideological education for employees, maintain close ties with the masses, and ensure stability.
