Since its opening on May 18, 2018, the World Music Culture Museum has always focused on the inheritance of music culture and the innovation of museum undertakings. Curator Zhang Jingxuan, with his proposal "Advocating New Museum Concepts to Make Entering Museums a Brand-New Lifestyle for Contemporary People", has built a multi-dimensional and integrated cultural and museum industry chain covering cultural undertakings, cultural industries, cultural technology, cultural tourism industries, and digital culture, practicing the new trend of cultural and museum development.
Curator Zhang Jingxuan has actively promoted the "Museum + Initiative", integrating the art gallery within the museum, the art museum within the museum, the concert hall within the museum, the café within the museum, and the restaurant within the museum. This effort aims to create a museum with the strongest cultural atmosphere, the richest artistic vibe, the most romance, and the most beauty—ultimately making it a museum with the warmest charm!
In addition, the preparation of the Piano Museum, Music Box Museum, and Record Museum is underway, accumulating strength for the future "Museum Cluster of the World Music Culture and Museum Town".

While establishing sound cooperative relationships with well-known domestic universities and cultural/museum institutions, the World Music Culture Museum has also formed good cooperative ties with museums and conservatories in many countries, including Russia, Austria, Germany, the United Kingdom, the United States, France, Japan, and South Korea. It actively promotes national culture and conducts international music and cultural exchanges.
The World Music Culture Museum has signed the International Inter-Museum Cooperation Agreement with the State Museum of Music of the Russian Federation. The State Museum of Music of the Russian Federation is an institution directly under the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. With the goal of advancing practical cooperation in multiple areas such as the collection, exhibition, personnel exchange, and mutual exhibition of music museums, as well as other cultural and artistic fields, the directors of both parties have agreed to carry out exchanges and mutual learning of advanced experience in music museum construction. This initiative aims to promote the quality improvement and upgrading of music museums in China and Russia, and integrate the new museum concept into the lifestyle of contemporary people.
