Zhang Jingxuan, Founder and Director of the Dalian World Music Culture Museum in China, was invited to attend the 2025 International Museum Day organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation. At 12:00 Moscow time on May 21, the forum officially commenced. Olga Lyubimova, Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation, delivered the opening address and a keynote speech. Other distinguished speakers included Mikhail Shvedkoi, Special Representative of the President of Russia for International Cultural Cooperation and Goodwill Ambassador of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, and Mikhail Piotrovsky, Director of the State Hermitage Museum (Winter Palace). This conference holds extraordinary significance as cultural ambassadors from around the world gather at the 2025 International Museum Festival in the Russian Federation to exchange insights on the future direction of museums and address challenges in museum operations. This marks the third time the World Music Culture Museum has been invited to participate in museum-related cultural events officially organized by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation.

2025 International Museum Festival in the Russian Federation - “Philanthropy and Cross-Border Collaboration in Museum Affairs”
May 21, 2025, 12:00–14:00 Zhang Jingxuan, Founder and Director of the World Music Culture Museum in Dalian, China, was invited to participate in the Russian Federation 2025 International Museum Festival. The forum took place during the plenary session “Museums—Heritage Laboratories” at the State Tretyakov Gallery, an art palace along the Moscow River. Case Presentation: “Investing in Heritage: Philanthropy and Cross-Sector Collaboration in Museum Development” Director Zhang Jingxuan delivered the keynote address “Promoting New Museum Concepts: Making Museum Visits a Contemporary Lifestyle,” presenting forum themes across four dimensions: philanthropic initiatives, museum-business co-creation, international exchange and cooperation, and innovative future development. His presentation received unanimous high praise from distinguished guests including Mikhail Arkadyevich Brzizgalov (Director of the Russian State Museum of Music), Anna Trapkova (Director of the Moscow Museum), Olga Taratynova (Director of the Catherine Palace and Reserve), Kristina Trubinova (Director of the Bakhrushin Theatre Museum), and all attendees. Particularly noteworthy was the active engagement of Chinese students studying in Russia, who posed numerous questions about positioning and developing their music studies. Director Zhang Jingxuan provided insightful and vivid answers to each student's queries and concerns, while encouraging them to embrace confidence in their futures and shoulder the responsibility of contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. This dialogue ignited the passion of every Chinese student present!
