On July 29, the "Century Echoes, Century Legacy" charity concert was successfully held at the Dalian Voice Dream Factory Concert Hall, located on the third floor of the Donggang World Music Culture Museum. Co-hosted by the World Music Culture Museum and Dalian Liu Ning Piano School, with support from the Dalian Lions Club and Dalian Bos Piano Store, the concert aimed to showcase the musical talents of children, fulfill the museum's social education and science outreach functions, and call for greater societal care and compassion for children with congenital health challenges. Renowned pianists Li Jiale and Zhao Wanting served as guest performers, while the performances by two visually impaired students deeply moved the audience.
The World Music Culture Museum is a multifaceted professional institution dedicated to showcasing global musical cultures, offering experiences with cutting-edge contemporary audio-visual technology, and hosting diverse cultural events. As one of Dalian's newest cultural landmarks, the museum has consistently supported charitable causes. Through funding programs for blind and autistic children, it enables these young learners to explore the world of music alongside their peers. The museum further enriches children's cultural lives by promoting musical literacy and expanding their artistic horizons through music education.
